Intended Use
INDICAID Fentanyl Rapid Detection Test is a rapid powder screening test that can be performed without the use of an instrument.
The test uses antibody to selectively detect elevated levels of xylazine in powder. INDICAID Fentanyl Rapid Detection Test yields a positive result when the xylazine in powder exceeds 10 ng/mL.
This assay provides only a qualitative, preliminary test result. A more specific alternate chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) is the preferred confirmatory method. Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to any drug of abuse test result, particularly when preliminary positive results are used.

Dilute at least 1mg of powder in 5mL of water

Immerse the test dipstick vertically for at least 10–15 seconds

Read the results on the test dipstick after 1 minute
Note: A specimen collection container and water are required, but not included, to perform this test.
