Reading the results

Positive (+)
Rose-pink lines appear in both the control and test regions, indicating a positive result for hemoglobin (Hb).
Negative (-)
A rose-pink line appears only in the control region, indicating the Hb concentration is zero or below the detection limit.
Invalid
If no colored line appears in the control region, the test is invalid. Repeat the test with a new sample and contact the distributor with the lot number if issues persist.

Intended Use
The INDICAID Immunochemical Fecal Occult Blood Rapid Test (iFOB) is a a rapid test for the qualitative detection of human occult blood in feces. It is used as an aid in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding. The device is intended for over-the-counter use. For in vitro diagnostic use only.
